Fall 2024 was hat season. Especially the distinctive hat, full of personality. In the recent Chanel fashion show, those invited to the show received a large dose of seeing many distinctive hats and headwear. The creative designer Virginie Ferrad returned to the ancient roots of Chanel, all the way back to the twenties of the last century, when Coco Chanel entered the world of fashion by manufacturing sunny duffel hats in France. Directly on the picturesque beach, which runs parallel to the colorful umbrellas.
For this occasion, many of the models wore wide-brimmed sun hats in delicate shades of light pink, white, light violet, and sandy grey. The hats are decorated with brooches bearing the Lobo Chanel logo. They were paired with soft and light suits that only indicated comfort, as Chanel once said, “There is nothing more beautiful than freedom of the body.” Heavy jackets made of leather, fur, and jeans have become softer, roomier, and larger.
The most prominent pieces in the collection included low-waisted skirts and blouses similar to silk abayas in pastel rainbow colors. Hats were decorated with matching tunics, jackets and skirts with silk scarves tied at the back of the hair. There were references to the seventies and twenties of the last century. There were also hints of 1940s style as well, especially through dresses with puffed sleeves and prominent buttons. Which was coordinated with opera gloves with ruffles. There were many classic touches in the purpose, presented in many types, some decorated with wool and others with leather, suede and denim.
