Best Looks from Chanel Métiers d'Art 2025 Fashion Show

If you couldn't get your hands on some of the models from the previous collection from Chanel, here is good news 😍✌🏻, there are still a few pieces from the previous CHANEL Métiers d'art 2024 collection left in the boutique https://tebougie.com/ar/ . You can catch up and buy your favorite piece before it runs out.

The atmosphere of the Chanel fashion show in China was as follows;

The setting: Set against the enchanting backdrop of Hangzhou’s West Lake—a lake that has inspired countless poets, scholars and artists throughout centuries of Chinese history—the show venue is one of the House of Chanel’s most anticipated destinations. As dusk fell, the show came to life as the entire West Lake was illuminated to the thunderous roar of the tango, a traditional Chinese drum paired with the enchanting resonance of Nina Rota’s “O Venezia, Venaga, Venusia.”

Vision: “The interior of a home is the natural projection of the soul,” Coco Chanel once said—a sentiment that became the cornerstone of inspiration for the design team. The mystique of the Orient, embedded in the intricate carvings of the legendary Coromandel screens displayed in Chanel’s famous apartment, served as the central theme of today’s show.

A lineup of models opened the show in glossy black coats, embellished with sparkling buttons, floral embroidery, and shimmering mesh work, evoking the way light dances across the woven surfaces of iconic screens. Iridescent pearl inlays, rich in historical narratives, appeared as a recurring motif on leggings, bodysuits, and even a cropped bolero. An exotic, captivating shade of cedar gave a lively warmth to the shimmering collection, adding not only depth but character.

Amidst the oversized bags, clutches and intricate shell purses, the highlight of the evening had to be an extraordinary gold-washed leather dress that resembled a silk petticoat from a bygone era. Sensual yet cohesive, the design studio captured timeless allure and elegance with this Métiers d’Art collection. With such exquisite works of art on display, there is clearly no urgent need for a new creative director given the house’s presentation this evening.

What to shop from this collection: Maybe it’s because Chanel rarely ventures into oversized bags, or maybe it’s just a personal bias—I’m definitely drawn to big handbags. This season’s standout accessories include oversized pillows and bags that blend practicality with a touch of luxury.

While the spirit of travel is undoubtedly in the air, the timeless appeal of Chanel’s cropped tweed jacket, woven entirely from metallic threads, cannot be overlooked. However, the real collector’s item this season has to be the Mao jacket, which is decorated with intricate drawings of birds perched on branches of cherry blossoms – an iconic motif lifted straight from the painted panels of the legendary Coromandel screens. As if that weren’t enough, a subtle touch of Chinese style sees a series of open-toed high-heeled shoes sculpted to resemble candle holders – a whimsical touch that seamlessly blends past and present.
